  • The arrangement of the bolection mould frame and the unadorned frieze capped by the shelf takes note from early George II architectural styles and was popular for use surrounding the fenestration of buildings of the period. Examples of this treatment can be found in such publications as ' A Book of Architecture, Containing Designs Of Buildings And Ornaments. By James Gibbs.' (London, 1728).
